Hello, my name is Brandon Moats.
I am an art director, designer, illustrator, gif-er, and animator. I have over 7 years of professional work
experience, and progress every day. 
Experimentation and exploration of new mediums, programs,
and techniques is one of my favorite things about being a designer.
If I'm not sitting in front of a computer, you can find me surfing in Huntington Beach, riding my bike
through the streets of DTLA, heading up north to the Eastern Sierras, or strolling the aisles at Target.

April 2018 - December 2018

Art Director
While at Tommy, I was Art Director of the LA office. I created the overall style guides for the newly revamped Ghostbusters social innitiative, and also all assets and collateral for Sony's new AR mobile game Ghostbusters World. Clients included Netflix, Paramount, Sony, Amazon, Warner Bros., MGM and Lionsgate.
September 2017 - March 2018

Art Director
I was brought on as Art Director of Social for Fullscreen's Social Agency. I oversee all the current projects that are being created, lead a team of about 15 designers. I am responsible for concepting ideas, overseeing the creative for the overall look and style of the campaigns, working with copywriters to make sure the voice is on brand, and selling creative through to the client. 

I was mainly brought in to lead the creative team to create over 300 pieces of creative for Hot Wheels during their main marketing time during the Q4 holiday season. It was a massive undertaking for everyone involved, and being a new client for Fullscreen, I made sure that we were not only creating great pieces of content, but also able to show Mattel how social can elevate their brand. 
In this new role, I have been able to learn so much more than I imagined. Not only have I been able to successfully direct a large team of designers, but also copywriters, and large live production team. Each month, we have had shoots for Hot Wheels that involve three setups in the studio including a set for photography, a set for stop motion, and a set for live action video. 

October 2014 - September 2017

Art Director
As Art Director I lead my team throughout the length of the entire social campaign. I am responsible for creating the overall look and style of the campaigns. I am also responsible for working with the copywriter assigned to the project and coming up with and executing original concepts. In 2016, we won Clio Key Art Awards for two of my social campaigns for Disney’s The Jungle Book, and A24’s Swiss Army Man. And in 2017, we won a Bronze Clio for the campaign I art directed for FX Networks Feud: Bette and Joan. Clients include: Disney, A24, Amazon, FX, FXX, Magnolia, Fox, Paramount, Sony, Focus, Universal, and Lionsgate.
Creating social content and style guides

• Figuring out how to use client assets to make project feel bigger than it is
• Directing developer on animations, and making sure banner works properly in HTML5
Designing/maintaining websites
• Responsible for creating sites from initial concept to final output
• Creating all assets for developers to build final site
• Designing sites to be responsive and work on both desktop and mobile
• Maintaining sites with updates throughout length of campaign

Graphic + Visual Designer
What started out as an internship during my last semester at CSUN, has lead me to become lead Visual Designer for Ad Sales at Crackle. I am responsible for creating all pre and post-sale materials such as site takeovers and skins, animated billboards, commercial storyboards, and visual presentations for large partner meetings. I was responsible for creating the digital presentation, along with all other printed assets, for Crackle's first-ever appearance at the Digital Content NewFronts held at the Classic Car Club in New York.

My main focus is always on Ad Sales projects, but when I am able, I lead most of Crackle's other major campaigns. Most recently, I art directed my first off-site photoshoot and created Crackle's first-ever teaser art for their original series Chosen. Earlier this summer, I created the branding for Summer of Heroes, a four-week period of curated movies about super heroes.
